Located in the heart of Red Rock, TX, KANDO Gear is a family-owned and operated business dedicated to creating the finest American-made cooking units. Every grill component— from design to assembly— is crafted right here in our facility. While certain parts like the igniter, pellet bucket, fan, FireBoard controller, wheels, power cord, and rubber components are sourced from trusted partners, they are still meticulously assembled in-house by our skilled team.

Keith Helford, the visionary behind KANDO Gear, invested more than 8 years refining and perfecting every aspect of the grill, from the cooking chamber to the auger assembly. Helford, his wife, and three daughters run KANDO Gear. Their relentless commitment to innovation has resulted in cooking units that deliver unparalleled performance, making them some of the best American-made grills on the market today. 

At KANDO Gear, we utilize a range of advanced machinery, including fiber lasers, press brakes, milling machines, and tube benders, to ensure precision at every stage of the manufacturing process. Many components are powder-coated for durability, while others receive multiple coats of wet paint for a flawless finish. Every part is crafted with purpose and care to enhance your grilling experience.

Once fully assembled, each grill undergoes a thorough, hand-checked inspection before being carefully packaged and shipped, ensuring that our customers receive only the highest quality product.
